LastPass Mac app not opening

Question

I recently upgraded the Mac app and Safari browser extension (as per LastPass instruction) but I can now no longer launch the app, from browser, the app or launchpad.  Basically, after I select the app to click on login, nothing happens.

I am running Catalina 10.15.7 and Safari 15.6.1.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am stymied at the moment.

I unfortunately wasn't able to fix this problem. I am currently using
the Firefox AddOn for LastPass.

I still hope for a fix from LastPass as this really poses a major
problem.

Likewise, I haven't been able to get it working on my Macbook. I have a similar issue with another app when using Catalina and Safari.  I haven't seen any updates to Catalina for a while so expect it's no longer being maintained. My Macbook is pretty old now so can't upgrade to latest OS.

I now have to use a Windows machine to access LastPass - not ideal.

Hopefully LastPass with sort this soon
