I see one of the LastPass web pages that states the the password vault is in AppData and another page that says it is kept in the United States.  Which is it?  Where is the vault ACTUALLY KEPT?

Welcome to the LastPass Community.

The default location for Vault data is the United States.

In some countries that require data to be kept within their borders, LastPass may have additional servers located there.

All of this data is fully encrypted by your account password, and we as a company employ a zero-knowledge policy, meaning only you can unlock the account itself.
