I work on a few proprietary websites, and the lastpass autofill window obscures stuff when I'm trying to get work done. Is there any way to tell LastPass to ignore a field or to close the autofill window?

Sorry to hear this is an inconvenience.
In this case, if you have specific sites where you don't need LastPass to autofill, you can set up a rule for this to not happen. Please, check the article "Manage Never URLs in Account Settings".
