I always have to fill in my job title when I register for events like webinars; is there a way to create a custom field like that so that LastPass knows how to autofill that?

Welcome to the LastPass Community.
You can create a costume item from directly from your vault using a computer, please access your LastPass vault using a computer, go to all items then go to the bottom right concern click on the circle with the plus (+) , in the new menu please click on more items, at the bottom you should see the option New Custome Item.
I will also suggest using the "Save All Enter data" from your browser extension. Please go to the site where you are trying to log in, enter all your login information but does not log in. Before logging in, make a single click over your browser extension, top in the right corner click on the plus (+) and click on save all enter data. This tool will try to capture all the information you added into the login fields.
