I am not sure why you are not able to use LastPass in your Google Chrome browser inside your Mac computer but it has not been deprecated. You can continue using LastPass in Chrome. You can try following these instructions: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/install-lastpass-extension.html&_LANG=enus. I also suggest to make sure that the extension is properly enable, you can find more here: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/enable-extension.html&_LANG=enus.
If for any reason is still not letting you install the extension I recommend you to review the system requirements. You can check them here: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/System_Requirements_for_Users.html&_LANG=enus.

Ok thank you. Good to know. It was just that I received a message that LastPass would only support Safari going forward.
