My question is more about the authenticator.

I have both the Lastpass app and the Authenticator app on my phone to have easy access to Lastpass.

I also have other devices with the Lastpass app.

When I log in on such a device I need to acknowledge access on my phone.

That is not convenient if I do not have my phone handy.

My question is: Can I work around that by also installing the Authenticator app on those devices to get easy access?

Or do I twist the system then?

You are always able to access your vault via the web, at https://vault.lastpass.com. You can install the app on multiple devices if you don't want to access the vault on a web browser.
