How to stop auto login?

this is driving me nuts.

I just Can't find the option to prevent auto login.

I literally changed this three days ago and for some reason it's now gone back to keeping me logged in all the time.

Kind of think this is pretty unsafe, because if my laptop Fell into the wrong hands, someone could just access get all my information.

I've gone into my vault >>> Account settings And can't see the option there anywhere.

also can't see it under my vault >>> Advanced

Does anyone know why this changed back to not logout every time I close the browser down? Kind of worrying that it just reverted back to being open all the time without me authorising it.

LastPass browser extensions have their own Preferences, you will want to manage your session settings there in the first tab.

This is so frustrating for me also, I've been using this extension in Chrome for years now, and no change. I set the settings in preferences to auto logout after 15 mins, and also logout when browser closes, and it works, but only until the browser auto-updates. Then the settings are lost. Every time Chrome updates. And I cannot tell immediately, only after some time when I notice that Lastpass is being very super insecure and leaving me logged in, so anyone could grab my PC and steal money, login to my email, take personal info, etc. This is such a terrible default setting -- the default for a security program really should be the secure option. Please fix this! Thanks.

I hope this is a clearer explanation on how to stop Lastpass from auto login when you open your browser.

Left mouse click on the red Lastpass icon (the one with the 3 white dots at the top of your browser)
Click on Account (bottom right corner icon - looks like a playmobil person)
Click on Extension Settings
Under SECURITY - check "Checkout when all browsers are closed" (This should be a default, but it isn't)
