Can you leave out certain websites from lastpass?

I am looking at purchasing a LastPass premium account. Want to use it across several devices. However, I don't want all the websites I go to to automatically go into the LastPass system. Some I want to use as I do now, with my own login and passwords.

Is that possible? How does that work?

You have complete control over what LastPass will do (if anything) for any specific website. See this for how to do it:

Or, even if you've allowed LastPass to save the username/password for a website, you can still tell LastPass not to fill in the information:
