With the wake of security breaches LastPass has had I would assume LastPass would be looking for more ways too not only secure but also too enrich the existing users of LastPass. One of these ways, I would again assume, would be the use of the LastPass Feature Suggestions forum.
With currently 944 "New" suggestions, there are 0 being investigated. On top of that, according to the forum it self. Only 2 are in an "Accepted" state posted on 03/03/2021 and 09/11/2020 and 2 in a "Delivered" state, both on 10/25/2021.
There does not seem to be ANY moderation, consolidation, investigation, or in general any comments or in general any interaction being done by the LastPass staff. What little activity I have seen, has been from a single person named @GlennD . Even then it seems to just be limited to the 2 accepted and 2 delivered posts. I am not intentionally trying to push my agenda, but a perfect example is a suggestion that is very close to heart right now, and will most likely be a renew or not renew issues for me is, and that's a way to sort and or list passwords by last changed date. There are at least 14 different threads in the suggestion forum that I have touched myself and according to other users like and at least 21 if not more that they have touched. All of these request asking for the same thing. This is definitely not limited to this type of request but is the one I know the most about.
Now I've not gone through all 944 new suggestions my self but I have gone through the first 20 pages of newest postings and just the overall lack of response from anyone at LastPass is very disappointing.
Now, I have often been told that I am great at pointing out issues and short coming but tend to not bring solutions to the table. So in an effort to maybe help here. It would seem to me that maybe LastPass might benefit to some help. Like maybe some volunteer community managers or maybe some more tools the community can use to help bring suggestions to LastPass's attention. I know there are labels and kudos but, labels seem to only be added publicly when the original author adds them and when we have 20 plus posts with the same suggestion in them the kudos don't tend to add up. It would seem to me that consolidating threads like these would be something a community manager, at any level, should be taking care of.
Just my thoughts and two cents about it.
Some / any help in this area would greatly be appreciated but also if there are things happening on the back end that we cant see or maybe not aware of. Maybe a little more transparency would improve morale.
Thanks
