She does not have my LastPass password. But my wife does and can provide it to her. Also have a copy of the password in our safe deposit box (but not a copy of the grid). So essentially I want the pieces in place ready to be activated. Grid seemed like a great solution. Now I need a different solution. Suggestions?

Welcome to the LastPass Community.

In your case, I suggest setting the administrator up with a LastPass account under an email they will have access to in the future. Once complete, you may add them as an Trusted Contact for Emergency Access to your LastPass Vault, and set a delay period if needed.

Grid MFA is also an aging secondary authentication method, so I would suggest choosing a different option moving forward.
