situation:
Firefox 129.0.2 (64-bit)
Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93)
Visit website for financial organization
Open site in two tabs at the same time
Try to login using old password on one tab
Login fails
go to other tab
Reset password process followed
Use lastpass to generate a password
Save the password
Site accepts the password
Lastpass has updated password
login ok.
Close site
Switch to first tab
Lastpass pops up, asking to save the password again (even though it's already saved)
Click save
The updated password is reverted to the old (nonfunctional) password
Lastpass ends up with incorrect password, and reset process has to be carried out a second time.
This is a bugreport, but I'm not a paid user, so I have posted it here.
