"improved save and fill" in Edge on Windows 11 stops working

I've been using the"improved save and fill" for a few weeks now. About a week ago in Edge on Windows 11 the extension stops working. It doesn't fill. When I click the LP icon within a login field, instead of popping up next to the login, it pops up in the left corner with no ability sites listed and no ability to select anything.

I need to disable and then re-enable the extension, then refresh the web page to get it working again. it's now happening multiple times a day,

Anyone else?

Hello! Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, we have heard a few cases like this but we are having trouble reproducing. One thing in common among people is lots of tabs being open. Would that be the case for you as well? Do you mainly notice this occurring when you have many tabs open?

Actually, we now can reproduce the issue and are working on a fix. The issue occurs if you open the "Account Settings" link in the vault menu. Knowing that, you can avoid Account Settings for now until we publish a fix this week or you can close the vault and then close/reopen the browser to resolve the issue. Thanks!

Well I usually have three windows with a total of 20 or more tabs! I'm not sure that the only trigger is the "Vault->Advanced Options". I don't even recall opening that in quite some time.

I've been having this same problem since last week and I'm afraid it has nothing to do with either too many tabs open or Vault/Advanced Options. The only thing that works for me (but only sometimes) is to close out and reopen the Edge browser.

Thank you. How do you update an extension? Uninstall then Reinstall? Or is there an update mechanism?

Same problem for me. Edge on windows.

Your browser will update it automatically, or you can enable "Developer mode" and click the Update button to manually trigger the upgrade process once the new version is available.

We have submitted the fix for this with version 4.101.1. The various extension stores should have the update over the coming days. Once you have the new version, it would be great to get confirmation that it resolved the issues you all have been seeing. Thanks!

Looks like the 4.101.1 extension is available on Edge now so you should be able to upgrade to get the fix for this issue. Please let us know if it resolves the issues you were experiencing. Thanks!
