LastPass has suddenly started logging me out every 5 minutes?!

I've just installed the LastPass extension on Chrome Version 125.0.6422.142 (Official Build) (x86_64) on a Macbook pro running Monterey OS. For some reason it has started just randomly logging out every couple of minutes. It doesn't behave like this anywhere else that I have it installed.

I've checked my account settings and none of the ato-logout features are even enabled.

And I can't raise a proper ticket because I'm not a paid subscriber.

How do I tell LastPass to remain logged in?

What the hell is going on?? The flipping copy password isn't working either! This is a flipping joke. What kind of amateur hour is this.

Yep. Not only does the extension seem to be completely broken, not only do they refuse to support the product directly, but nobody even wants to support the product in community support.

Just look at how many people there are here with issues that nobody can even be bothered answering.

DO NOT PAY THESE CLOWNS ONE CENT. A better solution is to find a different platform that actualy has support when you need it, which is what I'll be doing unless someone actually responds to this issue shortly.

Same problem here. I was seriously debating becoming a paid subscriber but won't even consider it now until/unless this is resolved! Looks to me like it's less secure to have to send your master password over the web repeatedly!

Trust me, I have a paid account & they can't help with anything.

They want me to spend HOURS deleting COOKIES which I refuse to do, they want me to try it on another computer, & do all of this work for THEM because they have ruined the software.

I wish I could find a duplicate of LP. I tried when LogMeIn took over back in 2019 I think it was & none of them have the ability to save emails, credit cards, share logins, etc. Most of these software options ONLY deal with p/ws & that's it.

Blur was an option, but it had terrible GUI. Nice staff though, but they didn't seem like they were willing to create a stream lined interface despite me explaining how it should run (free of course).

I've been using LP since 2009 & while there were some issues before, it's never been this bad.

Now every time I want to fill in a page of date it forces me to click on a popup that says I agree.

The same with the passwords now. I have to click on a FKing popup saying I allow myself to COPY MY P/W. Are you kidding me?

And the other day it wasn't copying the p/w, it copied some string of words from who knows where.

They are forcing us to be rats/slaves that do their bidding.

The software used to be so easy to USE. Now it's a slave software. sigh

Absolutely put your site on here, as it seems this forum is completely useless for support, so you may as well make it useful and get a backlink to your website.

I'd be happy enough with a solution that only handled passwords, frankly. And if they had a decent price which meant I could use it on all my devices at a reasonable rate, I'd be a paying customer. If you have any recommendations concerning other platforms you've looked at I'd be interested.

All I need is a product that will work consistently. Lastpass is currently working fine on outdated Chrome on a 2005 Macbook running OSX Mavericks, but it can't even do the basics of letting me copy a password on a 2015 machine running Monterey.

Why do IT comanies behave like this? You've only got one product, but you refuse to support it even for paying customers, and you're happy to let the platform fall into disrepair and have people drag your own brand name through the dirt on your own community chat forum.

You can see looking at the other enquiries on here that this is a garbage company that doesn't give the slightest toss about its users - paying or otherwise, there's nobody even in charge of this forum, there are no experts in anything here and nobody cares. They're basically telling us not to use their platform, and I will be happy to oblige.

I need more than just a p/w manager, that's the problem for me. Everyone else who uses LP seems to only care about p/ws.

Now that they are forcing us to jump thru hoops with popups claiming it's for security (LOL yeh right, like I was born yesterday) just to copy our OWN PASSOWRDS to our clipboard and insert info to a new site we are signing up to, I'm furious.

Bitwarden - Here's my notes on Bitwarden

"doesn't auto fill e-mail addresses, CVV numbers, I couldn't even find the e-mail addresses. Doesn't save new p/w. I created an account with their forum & not only did it not fill in the p/w, I had to copy it to clipboard, and it didn't save the login either."

I think that's from 2019, so please LMK if they've actually fixed all of these stupid things that should be a no brainer feature for a p/w (blank) LOL I don't know what to call this type of software. Password saver? SMH
