I've gone through all the steps to enable passwordless. I've enrolled in the extension in the browser as shown by 'Account Settings'
Yet I am still prompted to enter my master password every now and again, despite all this.
What's going on?
Same here! I get it to work on Windows desktop and iPhone for a few days, and then it no longer shows the passwordless option. I have to enter my master pwd every time. I already re-set it up once already (which was no fun), and same outcome. I'm ready to give up on LP (after using it for many many years) because this is stupid and a bad sign for a tech company that's supposed to keep our stuff safe! Stop wasting our time with things that half-work / are too fragile!
I also have a same problem, but it's impossible to get in touch with support, you get looped between pages. There is no really "good" password manager, I pay for Nordpass and I have to submit 2 passwords to unlock my password manager. Kinda worst. There is no good paying option
I have the same issue. I turned on passwordless because I hate adding my master pass constantly. It also disables MFA so I am confused on the direction here.
Probably going to switch to Bitwarden or 1password when my subscription expires. Lastpass seems to not take their job seriously for people with more than 1 computer.
I am so sick of entering and re-entering my password... especially when I have the "password less" setting enabled. Sooooo frustrating!
I share the same experiences as the earlier writers on this posting. I will not be renewing my Last Pass subscription because of the difficulties and inconveniences of using LP. It is not any more inconvenient to use individual p/ws for accounts that have them. Eliminating one more frustration in the digital universe seems to be the way forward now.
The fact that this hasn't yet been answered by Lastpass is yet another indication of shoddy support! I've had the same problem, and am very frustrated! Why won't they answer this issue here?
I'm a paid user. Been in contact with their support, but didn't help much beyond the "uninstall and install it again". No way to get anyone on a call. Already canceled the subscription renew, going for Bitwarden after this.
