I am sorry about the issues you are having with linking both accounts. To have them linked, one of the accounts should be a Business account. Then on that account, from the left side, click on Account Benefits. You will find the option to link them from there.

When I click on the "link accounts" option I am not given the option to link my personal account. I am only given the option to start a free family plan?
@Shannon Batman I'm afraid linking accounts is restricted to Business accounts, where users also have a personal account (such as Family or Premium). I don't see that you have a Business account under the current login. If you do however, that's where the linking should begin.
