I used to have a paid company account with LastPass, during which time I used a YubiKey for MFA. Now I'm no longer on that paid plan and the MFA check is no longer required. Nevertheless, frequently a new browser tab opens asking me to use the key, which doesn't work anymore, so I have to go to lastpass.com and log in to get that prompt to go away. Sometimes it even starts spawning multiple new tabs for this seemingly infinitely. If I try to remove the YubiKey from my account settings, I'm just pushed to upgrade but it doesn't get removed. Does anyone know how to fix this without upgrading?
On a similar note, is anyone from LastPass willing to have a little sympathy for former supporters and pride in the product to help fix this issue without expecting people to upgrade to access support? Seems others have been reporting this for a while and not getting a resolution, e.g.:

Thank you for bringing up this scenario. We will work to improve the documentation in this circumstance, as Yubikey integrations were only originally permitted for paid subscribers.
If you cannot disable through your online account settings, there is a specific location to disable Yubikey authentication requirements, which works for any personal account where you are the sole owner or Families manager.
