My Uncle has passed away - we have no idea how to unlock his computer

No customer service # provided in any of your documentation or on the website.

No instructions on what to do upon his passing.

I had to register an account on this site to get a response which has me grumpy enough.

Someone, please let me know what the procedure is here. This is time sensitive and you're dealing with a bereaved family. I'm happy to provide my contact # to staff.

Unfortunately, the information stored int he vaults is private to the user. The only possibility will remain if your uncle setup Emergency Access, we'll need to do a status check. Please, private message me the email address of the account.

I have access to my uncle's computer. He paid for this service to store his passwords. Are you telling me everything is irrevocably lost and you have no way to get into someone's computer who has passed away?

My condolences to you and your family, but this is not something we can help you with. Rescue is a remote support tool that our customers use to support their clients, we do not provide general tech support. If your Uncle was a customer or ours we can assist with canceling his service, but we have no knowledge of his passwords.

Then you are looking for help with LastPass, which is a different service from Rescue and a different community. I will move this conversation over to their community where they can help you.

If your Uncle used a PC that runs Windows you might try the Microsoft Support, and if he used an Apple device you could try their online support or the nearest Apple Store.

You're telling me this service locks down people's computers when they die so no one can access his contact list? There is NOTHING built in this this product to assist with information assistance after death?
