Can't reset master password on LastPass

I was trying to login with my master password, which I'm sure I remembered (but then again haven't had to use for a while). It came up as an error and a link to reset my password. I first tried the ;send a hint' but the email only has a blank box, no hint. I then tried the recover option but got a message saying: LastPass account recovery failed. the LastPass browser extension hasn't been installed.

I'm using it on my iPhone on Safari browser, so I went into Safari settings and enabled the LastPass extension but it's still coming up with the same message! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

By checking the account, I've noticed the account is empty. There are no recovery options available to use with historical data of the extension, it is expected to fail. The hint shows blank if you did not add it.

In this case, you canReset your LastPass accountand start over with collecting data (e.g., sites, secure notes, form fill items, creating identities, etc.). This will permanently delete all of your stored encrypted data within your LastPass account, but your account status and some settings will remain untouched.
