Unable to log in using Firefox extension since update. I can log in using Edge ext.

Hi, since the most recent update of the Firefox extension, Ver 4.95.0.3 16th May 2022, I cannot log in via the extension. I can log in directly using the browser and also using the Edge extension.

I have multifactor authentication enabled and can request the sms code on the log in window. When the code is entered it attempts to log me in but then stops and leaves me back on the browser page.

I am using Firefox 100.0.1 (64-bit).

Has anyone else had this and resolved the frustrating issue?

Have you reinstalled the browser extension? I was not able to find any other examples of this behavior currently. It does not sound like you need to verify the login endpoint again. If the issue persists with a reinstall, I would reach out to support for diagnostic instructions.

I had a similar problem with Chrome. I loaded the FireFox extension and had the same results. I can get LastPass to work by going to the My Account url directly but using the extension directly does not work.

Hi DAM1, I also updated to FF 100.0.2 and still had the same problem, but after uninstalling the LP browser extension and reinstalling it just now, I have been able to log in. I hope that helps for you too.

Very similar problem this past week or so seemingly since Firefox update. Another update for Firefox (100.0.2) this morning and problem persists.

Problem: Unable to log into LastPass via the Firefox extension. Clicking on the LastPass extension icon opens the credentials request window wherein credentials then provided. Clicking on my "Open my vault" is then followed by window closing and LastPass icon going from 'red' to 'black' thus indicating extension closed. Vault never opens.

The good news is that by going directly to the LastPass web page I can log into my account. Once I log in the LastPass extension icon on Firefox goes from 'black' to 'red' and the vault seems to function normally until such time as I close the browser. At that point, the whole process starts all over. Annoying.
