Thank you for your question, another extension like ChatGPT should not be able to read your LastPass master password, because LastPass encrypts your vault data and does not store your master password in a way that other extensions can access it. LastPass uses the master password as the key to decrypt your vault locally, and your stored data is encrypted before it's sent to LastPass servers.
Thanks for the response. I noticed that you referred to ChatGPT and an extension. I have the desktop version. Does that make a difference?
As far as we know, there is no policy with the Chat GPT browser app that reads or records password entries.
Are you seeing any odd behavior when navigating the web with LastPass engaged?
