If you're running other extensions, disable them and see if the behavior resolves. I know that others who have recently reported this have traced it to a conflicting VPN extension.

Another persistent issue, is when the master credentials box comes up (when required for an item), its does not seem to work (but the same credentials will work directly with LP):
