Signing in from desktop if device type is set to mobile

Just a quick question to clarify something for me:

If I am a free user and have set my device type two mobile can I still sign in to my LastPass account using a browser on a desktop or laptop computer? And if I can still sign in can I view, copy, and change passwords in my vault?

As a LastPass Free customer that has selected Mobile as your device type you can sign in to your account through a web browser or LastPass browser extension, but you cannot access your vault or any of the site's data. You can access your account settings and other functions, but in order to access your vault, you will need to switch device types on your account or upgrade to a Premium plan so you can access your vault from both mobile and desktop devices.

If you are a free user and you set your device type to mobile, unfortunately you cannot access LastPass via a computer unless you change your device type. Free users can only change device types 3 times. You can see how many switches you have left in the account settings page.

Premium and Families accounts do not have any limitation on device types.

Thanks so much for your answer. So just to make sure that I understood you right. If I set my device type to mobile I cannot open a browser on a desktop or laptop computer and log into my vault? I’m not speaking about any browser extensions. I’m speaking about going to a lastpass.com and logging into my account.

Could you just acknowledge that I will not be able to do that? Thanks.
