Master Password is not working

Hi There,

i was logged out of my lastpass account, when trying to log back in, the master password won't accept. I have not changed this master password, I keep a record in a digital locked document so that I don't forget it.

I can't recover it because the browser extension is not being detected. I've removed and re installed the browser extension in chrome.

I can't revert because its saying that my password has not been changed.

I have thousands of passwords that I need access to daily and I can't access them.

Please can someone help urgently?

I've reviewed the account and noticed you have successfully accessed the vault and some failed attempts. The logs are showing the master password typed in is incorrect, therefore, you can't access.

For the account recovery process, you need the extension to match the recovery key. If the extension is removed from the browser, those keys get deleted.

In this case, I recommend checking the hint/reminder and try combinations of the master password, you can check the article for other ways toRecover your lost master password for LastPass or create a case, use the first red button for "Contact Support" and submit your email.
