Even though I have a free account, this situation is unacceptable because I have very sensitive data stored in my LastPass account. Having so many errors with such a critical and sensitive service is unbelievable, and I would rather have my account completely deleted than restored under these circumstances.
The situation I am facing:
(I am attaching all error messages as proof of my statements)
- Since today I can no longer log in, even though I know my password.
- A password reset is not possible, as no emails are being delivered to astdaniel@web.de.
- Even when I try to submit a request via https://lastpass.com/identity-verification, I get a programming error. This is unbelievable for such a large company dealing with such a sensitive topic (see screenshot). I carefully filled in a large amount of data to verify myself, but after submitting, I only receive this error message (see red error screenshot).
- Support is only available with a premium account – which I would gladly upgrade to, but I can’t, because it is not even possible to access my account!
So, dear Support team: after 12 hours of trying, I kindly ask you to contact me via my proper account astdaniel@web.de to let me know how we can proceed. I had to create this new account just to be able to reach you at all.
The funny part is that I was still able to log in with my old account in the support forum, but not in the Chrome extension…
I have the feeling that I was hacked, but I am starting to believe that there are serious system errors here.
