There should be a "View" option in addition to the "Edit" option. This is for mobile as well as browser.

More often then needing to edit an entry, I just want to open the record up (for instance, to see or copy the value of another field).To do that,my only option is to click "Edit", but then I may inadvertently change something.  I don't want to open an "Edit" window.  I just want to be able to actually view the full record.  This seems like a fairly basic use case.

You’re right about mobile…oops!  I had forgotten that.

BUT, I would still love to see this added to the browser extension.   I know that you can click edit and just…not edit, but it still just feels different.   There must be a reason they added “view” to the mobile app, right?

I can’t exactly explain why, but it would be a much more comfortable user experience to be able to click View instead of Edit in the browser extension when I just want to open and read it.
