Why does LastPass not offer to save passwords in Apps on iOS?

I have a number of apps on my iPhone for example Kia Connect, Tuya, Smartlife, Eziviz etc. They autofill credentials if the password has already been created via a web browser and is saved in the vault but Lastpass doesn't prompt to save passwords for new apps. this is particularly relevant with apps that doesn't launch a web browser to log into the account.

Secondly there is mention of integration with safari on iOS but not chrome for iOS. Is Chrome supported

To resolve this issue please do the following:

on your mobile device, please log out of the LastPass app, remove the LastPass app,power off mobile device for about 3 minutes, power device back on, add the LastPass app again, log back in and test it out.

Many thanks @HeynerO_LP I have followed your instructions but it does not work still. For example I have tried to log in to a Meross smart home app. I have attached some screenshots but basically the following was the scenario:-

1) I tried to log into the app which had logged out but could not remember password

2) I clicked on Passwords above keyboard but LastPass said it had no records on Meross.com

3) I sent a Forgot Password request which sent me to a webpage to enter a new password. LastPass did not offer a password or key

4) I entered a new password manually but LastPass did not offer to save the password

5) the website confirmed password had been changed and invited me to log in again

6) at log in page LastPass again said there were no credentials in the vault

During this process iOS displayed a message that "AutoFill was unavailable. Developer needs to update it to work with this feature"

This is a typical scenario across many Apps on iOS

Hi @HeynerO_LP did you get chance to review my last response. The autofill for existing apps and password suggestion prompt for new apps does not work on iOS. I get the following warning from iOS Autofill Unavailable

I have been having this same issue and LastPass claims no one has reported this before.. which clearly you have too.. and they stop responding regarding this issue after you report it.. which is terrible customer service.

I got frustrated with the lack of response from this forum and ended up raising a formal support ticket. The support technician claimed he tested the issue with a selection of the apps I reported wernt working and confirmed they did not autofill or prompt for a password suggestion. He also confirmed that Chrome on iOS is not supported only Safari which I find crazy as chrome is supported on desktop. Clearly there is more development needed to support the claims that LastPass works on mobile devices. I think it needs more customers to complain like I have. Good Luck
