Account recovery not working

Question

I am trying to recover my business account that i setup a year ago but never used. I cannot remember the password and account recovery doesn't work because it's asking me to use a browser that has the extension enabled, and when i do, it says i have to use a browser that has been using this account. but like i mentioned I haven't used this account since I set it up.

I don't mind if the data in my account is wiped, but i need access to the account.

Due to the encryption, there has to be a cached recovery one time password from a previous session in order to reset a  password. Since the account has been dormant, and you don't mind if the data is wiped, I would recommend just deleting it and starting over.

I am sorry about the issues you are having with your account. When you receive the message that the link is either expired or invalid it is due to your browser extension not having a recovery one time password available. If this does not work on any of the browsers where you have logged in before, you can also revert the last Master Password change.
