How to Change Master Password when former Master password is forgotten.

Question

I forgot my master password.  Shame on me. My fault.

So I go to change my Master Password but it fails repeatedly.

I am told: "

Your master password must rate as maximum strength and include at least 12 characters, using both uppercase and lowercase letters and at least 1 number and 1 special character.

This is all well and good.

As just an example I try:  Masters1966#

This master password consists of 12 characters; both upper /case and lowercase letters and one special characters.

But it consistently gets rejected.

Could somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong?

I apologize for the confusion @devin104​

The issue there is most likely caused by a new password that is too similar to the previous spelling.  I suggest changing your passphrase completely or try using LastPass' password generator feature instead.
