I've been having the same issue with my Pixel Tablet. It would autofill my passwords, but the app would immediately close when I tried to launch it.

Then I had a thought... i rotated my tablet vertically and the app opens. It's an autorotate issue. After it opens in verticle mode, it can rotate freely.
