Could you try uninstalling the LastPass app, restarting your device then reinstalling the app to see if that resolves the issue?

I had the same problem, uninstalled etc. The battery use went right down, but about 2 days later it shot back up again. The android system reported that LastPass was using a lot of CPU. It seems to be a repeating problem, not a one-off. Is there a solution that means I won't have to repeat this cycle?
