I am not receiving verification emails from Lastpass

Question

Even after following all the steps recommended in the help section. I am using hotmail, never had an issue like this. Trying to login, it prompts to check my email, but I get no email from last pass.I am familiar with this security step, but I never had issue receiving the email from Lastpass. I see you had a similar incident on Mar 19, I really hope something similar is going on right now, because currently I am fully unable to access my account, and I am worried.

Please check if your end is working as intended sending emails to hotmail addresses.

Historically, Hotmail has blocked many LastPass communications, so be sure you have permanently added these domains to your allow-list:  @lastpass.com

@sendgrid.com

@m.lastpass.com

@t.lastpass.com

After about 2.5 hours, an expired email came into my Hotmail email account with instructions at the bottom for the regeneration of an email, to do the verification process. Keeping my email (on my phone) opened, I did the log in request again and immediately got a new email. With simple common sense, following the prompts, (and trusting the source, realizing it is a good thing to verify, and it is for security) I was logged in to even my extension on my pc, which hadn't been used in around a year.  I appreciated it, [though at first, I was needing a LOT of patience, it paid off.] Alright, away I go!

That message can either indicate you are using a new device / location, have cleared your browser's cookies, or are using the wrong password.

If you're sure of the account password, then please check your Primary and Security account email address' for these domains: @lastpass.com

@m.lastpass.com

@t.lastpass.com
