I'm having the same problem. When I attempt to launch a website using my LastPass entry, launching does not take place. I have to navigate to the web site manually and also manually enter the password. Even though the LastPass icon appears next to the password block, nothing happens when I click it.
Circling back....I removed and then reinstalled the Google Chrome extension, and it is working just fine again.
