We truly apologize for the limitation while using the desktop app, some tools are available just in the website version or directly from the browser extension.

I was surprised by the differences between the web version and the desktop version, and wondered if you intended them to be different this way?  Your answer is:  yes we know they are different and that is what we designed so far.

Thanks for getting back to me.  I have downloaded a number articles on LastPass, so that I can benefit more fully from the features.
