I'm having a problem with the Password Generator

I tried to change a password for one of my accounts. I used the LastPass generator. I copied the generated password to my clipboard. When I pasted it at the password change site of the account I needed to change, it was not the same as the one I copied. I tried multiple times with the same result. I don't think the copy function on the Generator screen is working properly. What can I do?

Thank you for reaching out to LastPass support, my name is Hilda and I will be assisting you with the issue you're experiencing.When using the Generator password, please keep on mind that once you copy the generated password and close the Generator Passwords window, when re-open automatically a new password will show, so if you have copy the first password, used it and paste it manually to your desire website
