Seems it is finally in beta now.

Thanks for your patience.
Passkey Beta is now open to all supported web browsers.
Hello,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We appreciate your interest in Passkeys with LastPass, this was delayed in our agenda. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, we were informed it could be at the end of the first quarter of the year. We are still waiting for an official date of release, when this happens, we'll gladly announce it through our channels.
Let us know if further assistance is required.
Thank you,
Karol | Customer Care
Hello @Steve Denison,
My name is Henry and I am happy to assist with your inquiry, and appreciate you contacting LastPass Support!
Passkey support is in the process of being implemented. However, there is no ETA for when they will become available for use with LastPass.
Please let me know if further assistance is required.

Is there any updates about the schedule available? First quarter is over and it's mid of second already.
Meannwhile, if one creates and uses passkeys generated and stored in Apple ecosystem, can those be transferred to lastpass when support is finally launched?
I would also like an update on this. PSN fx is already asking for users to create passkeys and I can't store them in my lastpass vault because there is no support for it.
I would also like to know if there is an update of when support for storing passkeys will be available on Android.
context:
I just had the experience of a being locked out of a financial account because on Android, Lastpass is set as my Passwords/Passkeys/autofill manager (there can be only oneit seems) and while my phone went through the motions of creating a passkey, it then would say no passkey found,
that is really a shame. your competitors have either a beta going or have it implemented. its a bit strage that this has not been at least put in for testing just like other features that also have not been added yet. I feel that lastpass is getting left behind which is sad to say for a customer of almost 10 years
Hello @djhay94,
Unfortunately, there is currently no ETA for when Passkey support will be available. I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause you.
this is totally unacceptable, it has been more than 1 year since lastpass published this article
https://blog.lastpass.com/posts/2023/06/support-for-passkeys-coming-soon
is lastpass not capable enough to laungh new features?
what is stopping you from releasing this feature?
I am paid user of lastpass since more than 10 years, if you can't release this feature soon just refund me my subscription fees and I will switch to another password manager.
I can't find passkeys support. The support was promised for the end of 2023. I wouldn't have renewed my subscription if the support hadn't been promised. 1Password has supported this for a long time. bitwarden has also been able to do this since November. (lastpass.com)
Does LastPass currently support passkeys? When I attempt to make a passkey on my phone, the only option is to make it on Apple Keychain, which I have disabled for LastPass. Is there a plan in the future for the implementation of passkey support?
Passkeys were supposedly going to be implemented last year but don't appear to be available. Do you have an updated implementation timeline? (lastpass.com)
LastPass has been talking about passkeys almost a year now, several times moved the expected date. Now, there is no information more than 6 months after last planned date. Other password managers have the passkeys.
Please urge the product group about information and roadmap for lastpass for browser extension, android mobile etc.
Seems like lot of users will move to other platforms which are supporting passkey for a year now...
they don't even care to provide just a simple satisfactory answer to their loyal customers which have been with them for years
other password managers have started offering passkeys since 1 year.
as I am using lastpass since last 7 years, I trusted them for passkey's release, and now they are just shamelessly quite, shamelessly non-competent, just shameless company.
I am now stuck with lastpass for more 8 full months.
anyone from this article who was also waiting for lastpass, have you moved to another password manager, if yes which one, can someone refer some better alternative based on their migration please.
Hi Oletho,
this is the height of shamelessness from Lastpass, they don't even reply for this simple thing, I myself am waiting for passkeys since one year, I renenewed my subscription before 4 months in the hope that they will soon release lastpass.
they are shamelessly being quite about the updates
no update why passkeys are delayed.
they won't even refund the money.
just a shameless organization.
Promised for Q4 2023, and still no support.
Couldn't you at least reveal what's the obstacles for implementing this? The level of communication from Lastpass is disappointing.
and even for this string of messages when they would reply, they would just say that they are too waiting for an official date of release, and would ask us people to be patient.
Hi @armstead
Thanks for your interest!
The beta testing period for Passkey support will be here very soon (within weeks), and there should be an announcement on the LastPass blog: https://blog.lastpass.com/
Still no passkey support. Apple's new Passwords app is looking verrrry appealing right now.
Sure. I would migrate right away if i did not need cross platform
I agree. Apple's new Passwords app is looking verrrry appealing right now.
I don't understand, why there is 0 communication about the Passkeys...
@Dennis Rimola: Please forward this feedback to your Product Manager.
Dear Product Manager, after using LastPass for multiple years without any major problems, I've switched to 1Password last month, because of the missing Passkey support in LastPass. Or to be more specific: I've cancelled my subscription because of the terrible (= non existing) communication from the Product team regarding the status of the feature. Apparently the Product team didn't provided the Support team with the right communication strategy.
Please don't get me wrong: I know there always can be problems and issue that lead to delays in feature delivery. Sometimes there are unexpected technology issues, sometimes internal reasons like missing resources, shift in strategy or political decisions are the root cause. That is (Product Management) life and I'm fully aware that that happens more often than we wish. I'm a CPO myself, so I totally get that.
But the least thing everyone can and must do is: Keep the communication going, explain that there is an unexpected situation and be honest about the delay. Never stop communicating, otherwise you are loosing the fundamental trust of all your loyal users.
I hope that feedback is helpful.
Yes but still no support from mobile apps, right? So if I configure any website to use passkey instead of password, I can't easily access that site from my mobile devices. Is that right? Do you have any date on the roadmap to fully support passkeys like your competitors are doing since 1-2 years?
The passkey support is partially out. Pretends to, but doesn't work on my phone. Cross-device login doesn't work at all. Launch doesn't even work on desktop (it loads the browser, but doesn't log you in). Definitely still a beta feature shipped early to production.
