The LastPass Chrome Extension causes trouble. After some short time (1-3 minutes) it automatically does a logout. How can I keep the login all the time?

Question

In the Chrome Extension I have opted out (see attached images):

- logout after this many minutes of acitivty

- share Login states between Browsers (to really isolate it to the Chrome browser)

In Chrome the Perfomance Settings are Balanced (recommended) and I have added https://lastpass.com to the Websites that are allways active, or the case I have my vault open in a tab that it always stays active.

It is very unlikely that it has to do with something else than the Chrome extension. Because in the Firefox browser I have installed the LastPass Extension too and all works fine.

To be sure I changed my settings in my Internet Security Software Bitdefender Total Security 2024 the Antitracking Feature is disabled for the Chrome browser. This way no cookies that lasspass might use will be deleted.

P.S.

In Chrome the LastPass the icon changes shortly to yellow color and then black Color. This means it is disconnected.

Does anyone knows what the yellow color means? I think it is only because I still have some optimzation to do with my passwords.

I apologize for the huge inconvenience this is causing you. I have seen that most of the time this issue is related to a high volume of cache, cookies, or a sync issue on LastPass. I will recommend following these steps:

Note: Before making any of these steps, please make sure you know your master password!

1. Clearthe LastPass cacheandrefresh sitesfrom the LastPass extension, log out

2. Proceed touninstall the LastPass extension, and clear cache and cookies (all time) on the browser (if you are using Chrome you can also only clear LastPass cookies here: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?hl=en-GB&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop#zippy=%2Cdelete-cookies-from-a-site:~:text=Delete%20cookies%20from%20a%20site)

3. Close completely and reopen the browser,install the extension again, log back in, and verify if the issue persists

BTW the yellow color is a notification most of the time a security notification about your passwords.
