The LastPass extension not working in Firefox Private window

With the latest update to the LastPass extension, 4.94.0.3, the LastPass extension is showing only a blank box in a Private Firefox window. The first time I click on the extension, I get the window with the Accept button. Click that and then only get a blank window. LastPass still autofills password fields, but can't be used to call up sites.

Downgrading to 4.93.0.1 'fixes' the problem introduced in 4.94.0.3. For now I've turned off auto update for the LastPass extension, but that doesn't seem like a good long term solution.

Just an update that version 4.96.0.8 of the LastPass extension fixes the private window issue.

To add to the details.

My primary machine is Windows 10,Firefox 100.0 (but I started having problems before Firefox 100 rolled out).

To try and confirm that it's not something with Firefox or some other extension I've installed, I've done a clean install of Firefox and only installed the LastPass extension and change no Firefox settings and the problem still exists with LastPass extension 4.94.0.3.
