How does sharing within LastPass work?

Question

I'm a freelancer and I want a way to accessa client's social media accounts without me having to see their passwords. I don't want to worry about security on my end, and the client may not feel comfortable giving me the password.

Lastpass or something similar might help solve both of these problems.

Does Lastpass work for this, and if so what account type is the best for this?

If you're only going to be accessing LastPass on one type of device (such as only on Computers and not Mobile devices) a LastPass Free account should fit your needs. Your clients can then share items/credentials to your LastPass account using the Sharing feature.
