I'm a web developer working on a web page with lots of form fields (30 or so). Can LastPass be used to fill in all the text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns? If so, how?

All fields have both id and name attributes, and I've tried various combinations for the Field Name settings within LP.

I've tried creating a Custom Item template with a few of the fields but am never presented with a way to fill in the form. Using an Address item was somewhat successful but mis-filled some fields. I'd like more control over how the fields are matched (id vs. name vs. some other identifier)

LastPass can help fill in form fields on a webpage, but its capabilities are primarily focused on login credentials (username/password) and form autofill for personal data (like name, address, phone number, etc.). Here's how it works and what its limitations are:

Text fields: Name, email, phone, address, etc.

Dropdowns: Country, state, etc., if they match saved profile data.

Checkboxes: Only if they are part of login or saved form data (limited support).

Credit card info: If saved in your vault.

Custom form fields: If you manually save a form fill profile with those fields.

If LastPass doesn’t automatically detect the form, you can right-click the field and choose LastPass > Fill Form.

Complex or custom forms (like those with non-standard field names or JavaScript-driven inputs) may not be autofilled correctly.

Checkboxes and radio buttons are not reliably autofilled unless part of a saved login or form.

Dropdowns may need to match exact values from the profile.
