Can the LastPass Authenticator enabled in the LastPass account be used with other authenticator app

Hello

Can the LastPass Authenticator enabled in the LastPass account be used on other authentication apps because I've enabled the LastPass Authenticator in the LastPass account but add the 2FA code in other authentication app and somehow it's not working and I'm lock-out from the account. So, is the 2FA code added in the other authentication app will not work or is there anything on the LastPass side which is not working?

Hello

I've accidentally lock-out from the LastPass account because I've enable the LastPass Authenticator but added the 2FA code to another authenticator app instead of LastPass Authenticator.

Now, it's not working and there's no option for email recovery, but there is option for SMS recovery which is not working when clicking on the Send SMS there is no SMS is received and the Call me option is also not working maybe SMS recovery is not set up that's why there's no SMS or Call is receive but there is phone number is added in account.

I've 2FA code in the authenticator but it's not working or it's invalid code. Is there any option to transfer the code from another authenticator app to LastPass Authenticator app.

For the best result, please follow the appropriate flow for each of the multifactors listed in the Account settings - Multifactor options or else it may not be properly recognized when scanning the qr code with a different one. If the multifactor is not listed, then it is not going to be compatible with LastPass.
