I have done everything in the article but I am still being logged out even though I have checked all settings to NOT log out automatically
Same.
same issue here- constantly needing to log in multiple times. In fact- after logging in to LP- I am on the vault screen- but even there it shows a grayed out 3dot icon in browser- which should be red when you are logged in.
I have checked all settings for everything - extension and website and have got all settings to NOT LOG OUT AT ALL EVER, yet it is still logging me out on a regular basis. I know it will log me out if I clear cookies and cache or if website is updated, but it is logging me out even when this isn't happening
To anyone still affected by this behavior: Please set your automatic log out setting to 2 weeks and let us know if things improve.
If not, please state your device, browser version, and if there are any other browser apps installed besides LastPass.
Thank you.
I tried the automatic log out setting to 2 weeks, and that did not solve the problem. Like many others, NOTHING ever suggested by Lastpass has worked. I'm on Chrome browser windows 10, no other extensions. I'm now researching how to move everything to Google password storage, as they seem to respond to problems with genuine solutions.
I just use Brave browser so I thought maybe that was causing the problem as lots of things don't work on Brave and only work on Chrome, so I tried it on Chrome and it was logging me out of there a lot too but not sure if that was because I don't use Chrome much. Seems like it is an IT fault caused by Last Pass which they haven't fixed. Maybe they could fix it in an update instead of telling everyone to alter settings, which doesn't fix it
If you are using chrome (and on a pc, I don't know about mobile), you may get lucky with a chrome setting. I used gemini to get an answer that for now at least, seems to work. There is a setting deep in chrome that does the trick. Use gemini, click on the chrome settings per gemini, and you will have a solution.
