avoid having to log in on personal computer every time after closing browser window

Question

I used to love Lass Pass but over the last couple of years it is getting extremely irritating to use.  I have to log in many times a day if I close my browser window. I have to log in separately on Chrome and FireFox even though I have  Share login state between browsers checked in settings.  We used to have to only log in again if we rebooted the computer..  How can I get back to this???

I face the same problem, it request login every time after i closed the Firefox. The problem is still exist even I reinstall the Windows 11.

Well I finally found the location where Trusted Device list is and my computer is already on it.  So that is probably why it is  not showing me the box to check to trust the computer again.  So my computer is already trusted but I still have to log in every time I open the browser and I have to log in on both Chrome and FireFox separately on this exact same computer.  So things are not working like the instructions say they should work.  Now what?

I am using Chrome and FireFox.  It is not set to remove cookies automatically, I have to go in and do it manually.

When I log into LastPass it does not show me any option to trust the computer for 30 days.  I even looked under Advanced Options.  I took a picture of the screens with my phone while trying to do this on the computer but I can't log in from my cell phone to add them to this thread. (or at least I couldn't yesterday despite multiple authentication approvals).
