After I posted I discovered the settings under Security. I turned on "Log in with Face ID", and "Unlock with Face ID". I also set "Skip Reprompt after login" to 3 minutes . This seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks for your reply.

It's possible that you might have the master password reprompt option enabled inside the item or inside the account settings. To disable it, please follow these steps: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/Require_a_Password_Reprompt.html&_LANG=enus. Also, by the fault the mobile app requires the master password or verification when you are autofilling, for that reason is suggested to use biometrics to make it easier since instead of asking for your master password it will be asking for your finger print or face ID.
