I’m worried that if I lose my phone I’ll lose access to LastPass. It seems that if I login from another device I need to use Authenticator to grant permission. But Authenticator is on my phone!
Please advise.

Go into your multifactor auth settings and make sure you have a backup method configured that you're positive you'll be able to access without LastPass or your phone.
