Authenticator codes frequently not working

For the last months, I've noticed that my 2FA codes from LastPass Authenticator don't work as well as they used to. Sometimes I have to write the code, way until a new one appears, and then submit it. If I use the "fresh" code, I can't get in.

At first I thought it was a problem from a specific site I was using, but then I had the same issue in a completely different website.

Update: I had disabled the "Automatic date and time" option on my phone, and so its clock was slightly off. Re-enabling that fixed the problem.
