I set up Emergency Access so that in the event I am incapcitated or die suddenly my son can access my secure notes. Will he be able to view/open/ download attachments in my secure notes, such as my Last Will and Testament?

Yes, Emergency Access includesall of your passwords, secure notes, form fill items, and other information.Please note that being invited to have emergency access to someone's Vault is not the same as being granted access to their entire LastPass account. That is, if emergency access has been approved by the LastPass account owner, then the result will be that the emergency access user will have a new folder in their Vault containing all of the Vault items of the LastPass account owner.
For something as important as a Last Will and Testament I would recommend a second back up option as well, perhaps an encrypted copy saved in online storage with the credentials stored in LastPass.
