Import assigned most items to the wrong category.
1) how do i change an item from one category to another? ie "note" to "password"
2) how do i change the category list itself? (password, note, address, payment cards, banks)

A "category" isa distinct item type, you cannot change an item's category once it's created so you would need to manually create a new item in the desired item type (for example, a new Password) and then copy/paste the credentials in to that new Password item type and then delete the other item (in your example, you'd create a new Password item then delete the Note item)
Currently the Item Types list (Passwords, Notes, Addresses, Payment Cards, etc.)cannot be edited or changed as these are pre set by LastPass.
