Lastpass is not saving passwords. When I enter a password and press save it reverts back to an old password

About your issue, the best practice isto make sure that the password you are updating, isn't store in your browser password manager, if so, delete the password and disable autofill from it.

You could also clear cookies and cache to make sure the data is not in the browser records
