Passwords do not copy successfully to the clipboard from MS Edge Browser Extension. Why?

I sometimes need to use a password in a local app (Windows 11) rather than in my web browser (MS Edge). I am usually able to copy passwords from the browser extension (v4.136.0) by typing the name of the item in the Search your vault box, clicking on the overlapping blue boxes and selecting Copy Password.

Despite being rewarded with a green tick that suggests the password has been copied, the clipboard contents are unchanged, i.e. they still contain whatever text I had previously copied. I have confirmed this by pasting the clipboard into Notepad.

After playing around with this problem I think the cause was an incompatibility with another browser extension. I had the Pinterest extension installed; when I uninstalled that extension, copying and pasting passwords from the LastPass extension started working again.

I have the same issue you had and I do not have the Pinterest extension installed. I have had this problem for a few months now. I finally uninstalled and reinstalled the extension but that didn't solve the problem. There shouldn't be a need to remove or disable any other extension to make Lastpass work as it did before. For me it was my Grammarly extension that was the culprit. I have only 5 extensions.
