Latest browser add on lacks option to copy UN or PW

The latest browser add on (I use Firefox but I suspect all add ons are affected) has dropped the option to copy the User Name or Password. I used this all the time because, for whatever reason, LastPass does not always autofill these items. I want the option back.

Okay, here's the "partial" fix I found. In another thread, there was mention of installing the "binary component" to solve some issues. So, I went to my Account, found that was not installed, and clicked on the option to "Install Binary Component". Now here's the weird part. After I did that, I tried to used LP again and found that the Copy User Name and Copy Password options did now appear when I clicked the little overlapping boxes icon. (Interestingly, there is no "tip" that appears when you hover over that icon). Then I went back into my Account tab and found that the binary component was still NOT installed, even though the copy function was now working. I started again to install the binary function and got all sorts of warnings about doing so. At that point I just said screw it, the copy function is now working, I'm not going to mess with installing this. And, to this moment, the copy function is still working. I don't like it when weird, inexplicable things happen with software, because that means something else weird can happen down the road. But that's my fix and that's where I am now.

The surprise update to the web apps in Chrome / Brave browser was a surprise that appeared to be suspicious. When I found that it was a product update and not a hack, I was not please with the new interface. I don't like that the copy to clipboard feature has been removed. I really don't like that opening my password info means exposing all the details in EDIT mode.

The old method allowed a password only, to be copied without displaying any private info. Now all the info including notes are fully exposed. This seems like a huge step backward in security.

The copy button only shows up when you're on a site and when you have a saved item in your vault. However, it doesn't show up when you search for an item.

EDIT: This appears to be an issue with secure notes. Sorry, my bad.

"weird, inexplicable things" with software are bad enough, but with my password manager, this is a hard no. I need a password manager that is reliable and trustworthy. It loses these attributes when "weird, inexplicable things" happen.
